Any reason is reason enough and we all find inspiration in any number of places. Whether its in our everyday experiences, from books, films, or conversations, from our work or world events.
Here I am offering some ‘jumping off’ places for your journaling. Why not see where they lead you ? These are simply suggestions, ideas that may help get you started when you may be looking for ideas outside your own immediate experience

- There’s no right or wrong
- We are our own worst critic
- Notice the experience of the ‘process’, the ‘doing’
Our journal offers us a safe place to explore and express our fears, our hopes, our experiences, our ideas and our dreams. Let us allow ourselves the privilege and benefit of this one activity without the need for external validation or approval and free from the weight of expectation of gain or profit.
Can we allow the benefit of the experience of the ‘doing’ to be ‘enough’?
